Silver on Silver! This 1970s Waltham Electrodyne is a superb example of the era's transitional watch technology. The electromechanical movement powers a striking silver-tone 'TV style' dial with Day and Date windows. Housed in a heavy, bold case, the watch is in immaculate condition and retains its original bracelet. Adding a layer of unique history is the intriguing clasp engraving: 'Gay Blade Champion 1979'—a perfect convergence of vintage tech and collectible history. Seems to be a bit of Mid-Western football history, but make of it what you will! Swiss made! Measures 38mm wide, 37mm high. 13.2mm Thick! Bracelet is adjustable downwards, but is maximized currently at roughly 7.25" - quick adjuster can bring it down by roughly 1" Condition: Overall amazing with a couple of tiny light scratches on case sides. Crystal is perfect and clear, dial as well. Watch is working, winding well, keeping good time. As its history is unknown, a visit to a local watchmaker for a routine service may be needed in the future. But it's clearly seen only light use and has been properly cared for.... this is a rare find!
