This 1980s (early 90s?) ROBEL Quartz Watch features a sleek, integrated band that perfectly complements its faceted polished stainless case and brushed gray dial with light-catching indexes. It's a seamless blend of style and functionality, a true testament to 80s design. Plus, the day-date calendar keeps you on track, no matter what decade you're in.
This watch dates from the 1980s or possibly early 90s. It's either a Seiko-inspired Hong Kong watch from that period or more unusually, a rare early watch from the Korean maker, Odirex / Robel.... which would place it in the early 90s. It's subtle, reserved and refined style isn't exactly K-Pop! In any event, it sports a 1980s Hong Kong quartz movement that runs well. A fresh battery and a few weeks observation show it working steadily and keeping excellent time.
Condition is great overall. A few very light age-related scratches and tiny dings here and there. Crystal is perfect. Presentation is still pretty amazing. Its curious origins provide additional interest. Extensive searching has failed to find another. And, that's not a all common in the era of Google Lens. :)
