Vintage cool, unusual design. This 1950s Benrus Elegance Winder boasts a 10K gold-filled case, 17 jewels, fancy lugs, cool patinated dial, and a sub-second hand. Experience the craftsmanship of the Mid-Century with this 1950s Benrus Elegance mechanical watch. Swiss-made 17-jewel BB 4 Benrus movement ticks with precision, while the 10K gold-plated case, fancy lugs, and sub-second hand create a timeless aesthetic. Fitted with a new, quality retro style calf leather band. Diameter is 31.5mm, and 40.5mm tall with lugs. Overall, it has amazing presentation. Crystal is excellent, all plating is completely intact. Edges are crisp and sharp as new. A few faint scratches here and there. One small nick on case back. Dial is showing some classic (and appropriate) Benrus patination. Strap is unworn, not vintage, but in the style of leather watch bands from the era. Watch runs, winds, and sets really well. Movement looks clean, keeps time well. As with any vintage watch, a future service will likely be necessary at some point in the future.
